Academic Integrity

EKU students are expected to adhere to the highest standards of academic integrity. Students who are found responsible of academic dishonesty will be sanctioned in a manner that is appropriate to the infraction. Sanctions may range from receiving a failing grade on the assignment to being assigned a failing grade in the course. Students who are assigned a grade of “F” or “FX” in a course due to academic dishonesty will not be permitted to withdraw from the course.

Academic dishonesty can occur in different forms, some of which include cheating, plagiarism, and fabrication. The University treats all instances of academic dishonesty seriously. For a full description of academic dishonesty refer Academic Regulation: 4.1.3ACR .
