Engineering Technology Management, Bachelor of Science (B.S.)
Graduates of the Engineering Technology Management program are prepared for many professional roles in technology-related businesses. These roles offer many opportunities to pursue exciting, challenging and rewarding careers that require technical knowledge and managerial skills. The B.S.-Engineering Technology Management program prepares individuals for entry-level positions that include manufacturing engineer, production engineer, industrial supervisor, industrial engineer, industrial technician, and quality engineer.
Engineering Technology Management graduates will be able to relate terminology, techniques and methodology to technical managerial concepts; demonstrate the ability to formulate and apply technical problem-solving and managerial concepts; and apply the concepts of mathematics and the physical sciences to solve technical problems. The B.S.-Engineering Technology Management program is accredited by the Association of Technology, Management, and Applied Engineering (ATMAE).

Tuition, Scholarships, and Career Information
Tuition Expenses:
For the 2026-27 academic year, the flat rate for full-time (12-15 credit hours) on-campus undergraduate students is $5,325.00 per semester for Kentucky residents and $6,120.00 per semester for non-residents. This non-resident rate is part of EKU’s continued effort to offer highly competitive tuition. Additionally, the EKU BookSmart program will transition in the 2026-27 academic year to provide required textbooks at a flat, discounted rate of $26 per credit hour (approximately $780 annually). Availability of Awards/Scholarships:
Reflecting a strong commitment to access, EKU has implemented a new scholarship model for Fall 2026, guaranteeing financial support ranging from $1,000 to $9,000 for every in-state, on-campus, full-time freshman, a commitment referenced by the President's Office as "100% Scholarship for Every Incoming Freshman". These Eastern Experience Scholarships (e.g., Regent's, President's, Promise Awards) are merit-based and automatically applied. Furthermore, EKU budgeted over $130 million for Scholarships and Fellowships for the FY 2026-27 period, and nearly 60% of undergraduates completed a credential in the 2023-24 academic year without accruing student loan debt. Most awards are not limited to specific programs; however, several Foundation Scholarships are specifically designated for students in the Department of Engineering & Technology, including the William E. Sexten scholarship, Professor Ed Swinford scholarship, Ralph Whalin scholarship, Paul A. Laslo Family scholarship, and Robert & Dewey Locker scholarship.
