Child Welfare Prep
The Child Welfare Prep certification by the Commonwealth of Kentucky requires an application and interview process, practicum experiences in public welfare agencies, participation in required training curricula, maintenance of a 3.0 GPA in social work courses, an institutional GPA of 2.5, and post graduation work commitment.

Program Requirements
See Bachelor of Social Work (B.S.W.)
In addition to the B.S.W. degree requirements, students must complete SWK 358 Child Abuse and Neglect and SWK 450 Child Abuse Interventions.
