The College of Health Sciences Center for Retention, Progression, and Graduation (RPG) serves all students within the College, offering academic enrichment and support resources to promote student success. Full-time staff and trained student employees work collaboratively to help students navigate college and the broader university system. The Center also provides referrals to additional resources across EKU as needed. The Center for RPG offers comprehensive academic support, including:

  • Peer tutoring through the Learning Assistant program, where upperclassmen offer individual and group sessions focused on course content, study strategies, and academic support
  • A collection of books and study materials, manipulative assessments, and textbooks for in-house use
  • A quiet and collaborative study area equipped with whiteboards and large tables
  • A fully equipped computer lab with printing capabilities, including color printing
  • Student success tutorials and workshops on a variety of academic and professional development topics
  • Proctored testing for required nursing admission exams (e.g., HESI A2), mid-curricular assessments, and exit exams, administered on a published annual schedule
  • Make-up testing arranged at the request of faculty
  • Research assistance provided in collaboration with the University Library
